Android smartphone users can install applications to their devices in
two ways. One approach is to install the app directly on the phone using
the Android Market app. The other is to use a PC to visit the Android
Market website. When you sign in with your Google account, the Android
Market website can identify your phone and install apps to it remotely.

Open a Web browser and go to the Android Market website at "market.android.com."

Click the "Sign in" link in the upper right corner of the
screen to log in with your Google account. Use the same Google account
you have linked to your Android device.

Browse through the available apps on the Market website and click on an app's icon to open its detail page.

Click the blue "Install" button to begin the process.

Open the "Send To" drop-down box when the Checkout screen
appears. Click the model of your phone and then click the "Install"
button. The application will automatically install to your phone through
your Wi-Fi or cellular data connection.
Note : To download android apps directly in.apk format you can use sites like
http://www.AppsApk.com. Android market is not allowing you to download directly to your Pc.
